What is it about the sunrise or sunset that is just so fucking special?
Conditions aside, we see the sun every day from 7.5 to 15 hours depending on location and time of year. Yet, for about an hour every morning and every evening, it becomes magical in a way that touches my soul like nothing else.
Lovers Point in Pacific Grove has become a regular part of my morning since we moved to Monterey in January of 2023, and especially so over the past few weeks of soul searching.
It’s wildly expensive to live here, but even on the worst of days it’s truly an amazing place. I’m filled with gratitude.
