I rarely relax but this year I am being kinder to myself. I have a to-do list that is a mile long that I break up into 7 daily tasks. Prioritizing them is always a challenge. With a handful of podcasts, multiple clients that I do contract work for, and a full-time job, my days are full beyond measure. Although today, the first of the new year, is typically the day that people go full speed ahead toward their goals, I am taking a new approach. I’m actually taking today to relax, walk down to the ocean, and then get just a few things done. The to-do list can wait. I need to breathe in this new reality a little bit longer.
