The $3 Million Dollar 2020 Corvette

The 2020 Corvette is one of the most beautiful cars Chevrolet has ever made. Now, that’s not to say that it is a $3 Million Dollar 2020 Corvette. But you don’t even have to look at the mid-engine design, or the way the GM designers were able to pull from Corvette’s rich history, to see that at first look it is beyond impressive.

Regardless of what badge is on the car, it is a supercar, and that’s what I love about it the most.

The very first Stingray with the 001 VIN was sold for $3 Million at Barrett-Jackson’s latest auction to Rick Hendrick, CEO of Hendrick Automotive Group and Chairman of Hendrick Motor Sports. Hendrick is also quite the historian and keeps a number of rare Chevrolet Corvettes in his extensive museum in North Carolina.

It probably won’t be a $3 million dollar version, but I will own one of these one day. Make sure you check out the Sneaker History podcast episode with Brett Golliff, who was one of the lead designers on the 2020 Corvette. Yep, from designing sneakers to designing the Corvette, he’s an amazing guy and I am lucky to call him a friend.

Check out the recap of the auction below:
