I was given the music from the Adele – Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD yesterday by a friend. I don’t even own a TV and I’ll be buying the DVD. That’s how good the music is. Definitely worth the 15 bucks or so it might cost you to pick it up. It’s powerful, painful, happy, uplifting, and most importantly, amazing. If passion was ever sold in a bottle, this is as close as you can get and I have yet to see anything from it, other than the trailer below.
I can’t tell if Chasing Pavements, To Make You Feel My Love, or Someone Like You is my favorite track out of the mix. The Bonnie Raitt I Can’t Make You Love Me is a special song to me and she does an amazing job of covering it without taking from its origins. After listening to this, Adele is on my must-see list of artists. I hope she tours after she recovers.
