I Don’t Play Video Games, I’m Missing Out #BWELA #ContentRules

Being that I’m not into video games, I miss out on a lot of cool things. Ironic, isn’t it? Most of the time you see people missing out on life because of video games and here I am saying I am missing out on life because I don’t play them. The reason why I say this is because of a recent discovery at Blog World Expo in a C.C. Chapman workshop called Content Rules, which is also the name of his book.

He showed an amazing video from Sony, in regards to knowing your customer. I am familiar with all the characters in the video, and depite not being a gamer, the video is so well put together, you can’t help but get a little excited.

I can imagine that when this video came out, gamers went crazy for it. I would have. If this was something that was applied to something I am passionate about I would have been playing it over and over again. All in all the presentation presented a lot of stuff that makes you think, now to find the book.

Being the quote junkie that I am, I of course pulled one from the slides…

Nobody reads ads, people read what interests them. Sometimes it’s an ad. -Howard Gossage
and sometimes that ad is an amazing video directed towards someone else. 🙂
