I’ve been getting in some decent time behind the camera photographing sneakers lately. I recently added another adidas Player Exclusive to my collection, a Baylor Bears PE of the Crazy 8. Considering I don’t have any kind of lighting setup, I seem to always be disappointed with the way the shots come out. I just use a piece of white or black poster board and try to find some space to shoot. I’ve tried a few different household lights but I really just don’t have space for any kind of legitimate setup. I was happy with the way my recent New Balance 998 launch event pictures turned out, I really think the black background looks better, same goes for these adidas Crazy 8s. The black background turned out better so those went on the Sole Collector site. When I was shooting on the white poster board, I went a little crazy playing with the depth of field and aperture, hence a bunch of the same stuff below 🙂
