Nike Air Go LWP Original Ads

One of the only shoes that I have obsessed over since its release is the Nike Air Go LWP. With its return, I am steadily scoopin’ up as many of the colorways as I can. Although it was mostly tied to Tim Hardaway thanks to the Original Air Go LWP Ads, despite my infatuation with the “Texas two-step,” Mitch Richmond was my both my favorite member of “Run TMC” and wearer of the Air Go LWP (although Penny Hardaway obviously comes in at an incredibly close 2nd).

Since I am still obsessing over all the returning colorways I went searching through my stash of vintage catalog scans for the one colorway I would have like to have seen return that won’t. The White/Black-Varsity Purple combination was a favorite of mine, as obviously Sacramento Kings colorways are pretty much instant must-haves. Since I could only afford the low-cut, less expensive version of the Air Go LWP, the Nike Air Lambaste, these retro models are filling a much-needed void in my life. Since the White/Black-Varsity Purple colorway isn’t scheduled for a return, I figured spending some time staring at the original ads would have to suffice.
