What a day. I am barely half way through it and it seems like I’ve been living it for a week already.
I need some sanctity… ocean…solitude…peace.
I have been listening to John Mayer’s Battle Studies and Sade’s Soldier of Love and comparing the two of them. It’s crazy how similar they are…and even more crazy how relationships for everyone stir up such familiar and understandable feelings. If we as people can relate so easily to words in a song artistically placed, why is it so difficult to relate to each other in a relationship?
I haven’t heard any of the acoustic versions from Battle Studies, but I came across these two on Youtube today and have had them on repeat in my mindtunes all day.
