Glow in the Dark Puppies, Switch-Hitters, and Wastefulness

This post is mostly a response to my Good Friend Mike trying to stand on a crumbling soapbox. Which ironically was provoked by me making a note of the lack of updates on his blog. So appropriately, I’ve gone a month or so without a post. Touché.

I am deeply concerned with the ability of internet readers actually reading. Therefore I still think we need pictures of those glow in the dark puppies.

Now that we have that out of the way, what the hell is wrong with people? There are at least a dozen people, if not hundreds, that had to approve of creating these glow in the dark puppies. All of which should consider reconditioning there morality, or perhaps hydrofluoric acid baptisms. Okay, maybe that is a little extreme, but Mike is correct here. If this is acceptable anywhere in the world, where are we headed?

What’s next, retiring goats?

As for switch-hitters, like Senator Arlen Specter Palpatine, Mike and I have always had different political views and been able to overcome them, and remain great friends. Usually, as Mike and many of our friends can attest, one of us needs to bring some light heartedness to the situation, and realize that it may be important in the big picture, but enjoying that Fat Tire is more important. So as for the move from right to left, I have only one thing to say… Mickey Mantle was a switch hitter and was one of the greatest players ever.

Ah, the final topic, wastefulness. I often times try to recycle too much, though my move to Texas has definitely caused me to slip up in my efforts. I, like everyone else have plenty of ways to make better use of my crap. So I have started another Goodwill box, thanks for the reminder Mike. I refuse to give up my stack of magazines in the “library” though. I apologize for any of the stuff I was responsible for, and remember for those car parts, there is always eBay 😉

  1. I’ve been trying to prevent a ‘library’ from starting in the new place. You’d be impressed by how much stuff is no longer in my possession. Although I still have a Apexi intake for a MR2 in garage.

We gave so much to Goodwill though. I may actually give them the Ninja Turtle posters, as the man cave doesn’t have room for them.

Speaking of man caves, this may be the subject of my next post…you know, in like 2 more months.
