Go Giants! I need a favor from the universe…

With Spring Training heading into full swing right about now, I’m excited about the upcoming season, and also incredibly motivated.

First up the team, the Giants have a great roster this year, a mix of veterans and youngsters that in my opinion will win the West. The starting pitchers this year have the potential to be one of the most dominate pitching staffs baseball has seen in years. Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Randy Johnson, Noah Lowry, Barry Zito and Jonathan Sanchez, 6 pitchers who when they are on can be dominant. With a solid bullpen, and All-Star closer Brian Wilson, adding pitches to offset his dominant fastball this Spring, the team’s pitching looks great.

With rumors of the Giants interest in Manny Ramirez a long shot, the team still has a solid line up without Manny. The line up may not have a big time power guy, but if the pitching is on, the Giants bats won’t have to put up more than 3-4 runs per game to win games. I’m stoked about this season! BEAT LA!

-On a side note (My Favor Request)… I read an article about Barry Zito training with Brian Wilson this summer. I’ve heard that Wilson’s discipline, workout routines, and mental strength is incredible. If anyone ever reads this, and has access to the program and diet that they followed, I’d love to see it, or even speak to Brian about it 😉

It could be beneficial to fulfilling one of the dreams on my checklist.
